Framework and Core terms(1)

Agents

We model agents as information processors in a sense; they recognize a problem situation, refer their sense of value, and make a decision which depends on their role in the orgnization. For example, agents are human beings or computers which can perform the information processing described above.

We assume that agents are bounded-rational subjects. They can have an incorrect recognition for a problem situation, have an improper sense of value. Therefore, they can make an inappropriate decision to perform their role.

Organization

We model an organization as a set of agents. The organization resolves tasks to be perfomed. We view the organization from an information processing perspective; the organization receives a input of task, resolves it, outputs a result.

So the organization fundamentally has at least two functions: receiving a input(recognition) and resolving task.
